About me
I am a postdoc funded by a María Zambrano grant working at the Autonomous University of Madrid and at the Instituto de Ciencias Matematicas (ICMAT) in the team of Andrei Jaikin-Zapirain.
My PhD thesis was obtained at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Michelle Bucher.
I spent my first postdoc at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in the group of Topology under the supervision of Roman Sauer. Then I moved to ENS Lyon in the team Géométrie, Groupes et Dynamique, working under the supervision of Damien Gaboriau. I have been funded by a Postdoc.Mobility grant of the Swiss national science foundation for 22 months (grant number P400P2_191107), 18 of which were spent at the ENS Lyon, and 4 already at the ICMAT in Madrid.
My main mathematical interests are in simplicial volume and its variants, bounded cohomology, low-dimensional geometry and topology, and geometric group theory.

Since the Winter Semester 2020 was devoted to foundational topics, we hope this book will serve as a gentle introduction for young mathematicians working in the field to topics of current research interest.
